Make sure to download this year’s applications and either email completed documents to director@yukonquestalaska.com, mail your documents to our office, or submit your files in person.
Your application is not officially submitted until we receive all completed forms (W9, Musher Release & Hold Harmless, Application), 1-3 headshots, and full payment.
550-Mile Race
The 2025 Yukon Quest Alaska 550-mile race will be a true test of endurance and skill for even the most seasoned mushers. This premiere long-distance event, crafted based on feedback from participants, will lead competitors through some of Alaska’s most rugged and breathtaking terrains. Starting in Fairbanks and concluding in Tok, the race will also feature a thrilling segment along the Yukon River. This year’s course not only challenges mushers with its demanding landscapes but also offers them an unforgettable journey through Alaska’s natural beauty.
200-Mile Race
The 2025 Yukon Quest Alaska 200-mile race provides a perfect balance of distance and intensity for mushers seeking a demanding yet manageable challenge. Ideal for those building experience or seasoned competitors looking for a different test, this mid-distance race retains the same route as last year. It offers an excellent opportunity for participants not quite ready for the grueling 550-mile race but still eager to tackle a significant and rewarding challenge.
80-Mile Fun Run
The 2025 Yukon Quest Alaska 80-mile fun run is designed to introduce novice mushers and young teams to the excitement of competitive sled dog racing. This event provides a supportive and thrilling environment, ideal for beginners eager to experience the sport. It serves as an excellent opportunity for newcomers to gain hands-on experience and immerse themselves in the world of mushing, making it the perfect entry point for those just starting out.
